DOE-HDBK-1244-2023, Biokinetic and Dosimetric Models Used In DOE-STD-1196-2002, Derived Concentration Technical Standard

This Handbook documents the biokinetic and dosimetric models used to derive the effective dose coefficients and derived concentration standards tabulated in Department of Energy (DOE) Standard DOE STD-1196-2022. The derived concentration standards (DCS) values are reference concentrations of radionuclides in environmental media (air, water, and milk) that provide a basis for the control of releases from DOE facilities.
